How is Personal Training different to my Fitness Advisor?
Your Personal Trainer will stay with you throughout your entire workout, so you know you are performing the best possible exercises, getting the most from your workout, in the safest possible environment.
Will my Personal Trainer arrange a nutritional plan for me?
Yes, nutrition is equally as important as the exercise you do, in fact probably more so! The old saying 'you are what you eat' is certainly correct, but unfortunately, in modern society the term 'you are what you don't eat' is more applicable to most peoples lifestyles. What you eat and when you eat determines your energy levels, how the body repairs itself and how you feel and look. Eating the wrong food, in the wrong amounts, at the wrong time can undo all the hard work you put in at the gym!
Have you recently had a baby or currently pregnant, but afraid to exercise without one to one care and attention?
Many active women stop exercising when the find they are pregnant, however there are many benefits to continuing exercise during pregnancy, for both mother and child. The baby's health will also benefit from a healthy mother, and so nutrition and exercise are crucial.
How much is it going to cost me?
To enrol on the Personal Training programme you must first join as a casual member of our gym (£25), which covers all the equipment you will need to use and each session with Shaun then costs £21/hour. The initial consultation is £10 or free if you book a minimum of 5 Personal Training sessions and involves:
In depth lifestyle analysis
Goal setting and objectives
Fitness analysis
Dietary discussion (nutritional programming)
Blood pressure test
