Carn Brea is home to the Royal Duchy of Cornwall Athletics Track that is part of the Leisure Centre facilities in Pool.

This track, the only eight-lane facility in Cornwall, has recently undergone a full surface refurbishment in order to maintain its status as a track suitable for national and county competitions and was officially re-opened by Julia Goldsworthy MP in July.

This track is home to some of the counties most prestigious Athletics Events, as well as the base for a number of inter and intra school sports days.

Contained within the track is a full size football pitch, with goals and a bespoke training area.

All areas are available for private booking and hourly hire.
